Belmont North Public School Band
At Belmont North Public School, we aim to provide a fun learning environment for students to enjoy and grow their musical talents.
As a result of the band program, students will:
- learn to play a musical instrument;
- develop increased self-esteem and confidence
- become a member of a team with a common goal
The Band consists of students from Years 3 – 6. Students are welcome to apply throughout the year to become band members.
The program requires every band member to do their best. A high level of commitment, respect for others and co-operation are expected from all band members.
The skills that students learn from being part of the band program can be applied to many other areas in school and in life and can give them the confidence to try new things.
