Computer Skills and learning about Technology are an important part of Belmont North Public School.
Using technology is intergrated throughout all key learning areas at our school and in all classrooms students have access to computers and Smartboards.
All classes have access to our computer lab which holds a Smartboard which is also set up as a connected classroom, over 30 computers one per child, digital recording devices and interactive drawing tablets.
Each class engage in specific computer lessons tailored to their learning, age and computer skill level. They are exposed in word processing software as well as animation, film, photography, music and art software.

Internet saftey is a priorety and all students from K-6 have been taught the importance of using the internet cautiously. The DET block sites they deem inappropriate. Students are also unable to access personal e-mail or social networking sites from the school computers.
Last term the DET established a program called Budd:e. It allowed students to learn about keeping safe and ambigious while using the internet.
